Stanley Park.

I just checked out the blog for Wilkosz+Way and found some awesome behind the scenes shots of the Stanley Park shoot in Vancouver with the Tusznio sisters. I know I already wrote a bit about that, but since I didn't get to be on set and see this, well... these are so good!

Here are some selects from the studio portion of the John James Jewelry Look Book with Wilkosz+Way. I did 3 different looks for the hair and makeup for the 3 jewelry categories. These turned out so fantastic!

New Parlour Issue.

Yes, the gorgeous Kim Mccullough (Mode Models International) on the cover of the August issue of Parlour Magazine! Lindsay Sutton did a fantastic job styling and Phillip Elliott from Chrome Salon rocked the hair! Wilkosz+Way, seriously, amazing. For the second shot, I switched up the hair and Lindsay threw in a necklace by John James Jewelry. HOT.

I am in love with these. Also, there is a little write up about me in the "Why We Love" section of the magazine. Very sweet.

Road Trip!

It's been a while since I've updated my posts and a few things have happened.

Road Trip to Vancouver!

Last week Wilkosz+Way and I piled ourselves into a car and drove the scenic drive to the West Coast and gorgeous Vancouver. Of course those surroundings called for a photo shoot, so with stylist Mila Franovic and models Natalie and Nicole Tusznio (Mode) we drove to park and got some amazing shots. Here are some behind the scenes, the girls looked gorgeous!

Randomness!

Today, I did hair and makeup for a shoot with photographer Kendra Dombowsky and model Robyn McKee. The location was fantastic. An old fridge, beat up stove, a lawn mover, giant weeds growing over chunks of concrete, all shoved into this rickety falling apart wooden shed with busted windows and a missing wall. Oh yes and to top it off.... 3 chandeliers hanging from the ceiling! So fantastic and random! Another set, a beat up vintage car in an overgrown field. The story of the shoot was more bridal/wedding sexy beauty, which is so different from what I've been doing lately. Which is why I'm really excited about these. The location was really amazing and Robyn just rocked everything and the quick peeks we got at the shots Kendra was taking... gorgeous!

More Gorgeous Shots!

Moving right along now... here is Aleisia Arkley! (Mode Models) What a face! I have worked with Aleisia when she was first starting out years back, still stunning but now she's even more of a pro. It's almost wrong how much the camera loves her. This was a bit of a last minute shoot for Wilkosz+Way and I, with some scheduling conflicts, but we got it done. LOVE!

Avenue Magazine July.

The July issue of Avenue Magazine is out, yes! In Touch Coordinator Pearl Tsang and Ladies Barrel Racer Shannon Hawes talk about The Calgary Stampede. I did the hair and makeup, Leah Van Loon was styling, and Jared Sych took the shots. Such a fun shoot! .... I still dream of the hot dogs from the Stampede grounds. Yum!

These lovely ladies from Mode Models were on Global Television on Saturday morning. I did the makeup, Zaneta Bartosova styled, and they modeled some awesome Stampede wear.
